Pet Data: Pet name, breed, weight, age, gender, activity level, health conditions, allergies, poop status, neutered status, and health goals (used to generate AI-based meals).
Device & App Data: Device model, OS version, crash logs, and in-app activity (for analytics and bug fixes).
2. How We Use Your Information
To create and manage your account.
To generate AI-personalized pet meals using your provided pet data.
To process subscriptions and manage delivery of meals.
To send important notifications (e.g., subscription status, delivery updates).
To improve app performance, fix bugs, and enhance features.
3. AI Processing
VitaPaw uses Gemini AI to generate personalized meal recommendations. AI processes only the data required (pet profile + available ingredients) and does not permanently store sensitive pet or user data.

The following types of data may be linked to your identity (as per App Store privacy labels):

User Content (pet profile, subscription preferences)

5. Data Not Collected
We do not collect your financial data, browsing history, or unrelated health data. We do not track users across other apps or websites.
6. Permissions
Location: Used only to help with delivery addresses and logistics (optional, managed in iOS settings).
Notifications: Used to keep users informed about subscriptions, meal readiness, and delivery progress.
7. Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your data. We may share limited information with trusted providers like Firebase (authentication, database), cloud hosting, and logistics partners for delivery purposes.
8. Data Storage and Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Personal and pet data stored securely in Firebase/Firestore.
Account access is secured via Firebase Authentication.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide services. You can request account and data deletion anytime:
Your data will be permanently deleted within 7 business days.

VitaPaw is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn a child has provided data, it will be deleted promptly.
