Booking & Travel Data: Information you provide to book trips, tours, or accommodations.
User Content: Reviews, comments, and other content you generate within the app.
Device & Technical Data: Device type, OS version, app usage, crash reports for improving app performance.
Push Notifications: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to send you notifications; these tokens do not identify you personally.
Location Data: With your consent, we may collect approximate or precise location data to offer location-based suggestions or services.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and provide secure authentication.
To process your bookings, reservations, and related travel services.
To send you booking confirmations, updates, promotions, and personalized notifications.
To store and sync your travel preferences and app settings.
To improve app performance, user experience, and fix bugs.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

3. Data Linked to You

Your personal data such as contact information, booking history, and identifiers (like JWT user ID) may be linked to your identity.

4. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your location, financial information, health data, or browsing history outside of the app. We do not use tracking for advertising or cross-app profiling.

5. Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google): Used for push notifications and crash reporting.
Our Backend: Manages user authentication and booking data securely.

6. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption and secure cloud servers to protect your data. Access is restricted and protected by authentication mechanisms.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can request to delete your account and personal data by contacting us.

Salaam Thailand is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover such data, we will delete it promptly.

9. International Users

Your data may be processed and stored in servers located in different countries. By using Salaam Thailand, you consent to such transfer and processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email.
